Dealing with mice

If you know where they're entering from and haven't yet been able to block up the entry points, then dabbing peppermint or clove oil in those areas deters them from coming in.  Apparently mice hate the smell and they'll be repelled.

Peppermint essential oil works very well. Dab a few drops onto a cotton wool ball and stuff it into the spaces where they are coming into your kitchen. They hate it. Other essential oils work well too but peppermint is best.
