Yes photo is Alexandra Palace Roller Skating Rink. North London also has skating venues at Picketts Lock Sports Centr & Tatem Park.

Used to go there Saturday mornings.
Of course, Harringay was there first!
Harringay was ice skating in my childhood (1950s)
Your surname rings a bell ! Would you have attended Woodland Park Junior or South Grove Sec Mod between years of 56 - 64 by any chance ?
Saturday morning skating! Remember it well...
I remember the roller disco at the Ally Pally in the early 70s. Wednesday night? I used to go to that a lot.
Many happy hours spent here!
Wow, takes me back. Spent a lot of Friday and Saturday nights in here. Group of friends, skating, armchair races, the Whip, a beer or two in the bar and then skating down the road to the bottom of the hill at the end of the night.
On race nights, you'd see the skaters coating their wooden wheels [this was before the nylon wheels became popular} with evo stick, to get traction[?] [always wondered why you'd want to 'stick' when you wanted to go 'fast'].
Remember Beadle's skates in Bounds Green?
No, the bar was actually just off to the right of the rink. The refreshment area was divided into two areas, a cafe part and the bar. Also had the skate hire room there.
As you look at the palace, the rink was at the left end [the Grove end?] opposite end to the BBC.
