Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any tips for sound proofing a babies room from the road? We already have double glazing, but we're thinking of heavy curtains or double honeycombed drapes.
Does anyone have any tips please?!
Thanks

Neither curtains or drapes are likely to have make that much difference, especially at lower frequencies.
My advice would be to install secondary glazing, with sound deadening in the frame.
Hi. We had this problem living beside an A road in ourvold house. Previous poster is right. Curtains won't do anything I'm afrad. You absolutely need to install/ have installed secondary glazing with sound deadening in frame and 6mm acoustic glass. I think we got Everest to do ours.
