The Gospel Centre food bank just got even busier
Hello,
The second half of the year finds us even busier serving more people than ever. We are also starting to see then benefits of our links with other food providers and suppliers. However, we are still short of some items.
Consequently we would be very grateful for donations of
- standard packets of cereal
- 1 kg bags of rice, shower gel
- shampoo
- hot chocolate
- juice
- cleaning / washing materials.

I would also like to bring to your attention the hot food service being provided at The Castle (N4 2HA) who provide a cooked meal service, to anyone within a 2 mile radius of them, which they will home deliver. People can order for themselves by calling 020 8706 0970, or you can order on their behalf, if that's better.

- Yes because our rubbish government has said vulnerable people shielding are ni longer vulnerable and go out to the shops and risk their lives. Disgusting

Not sure I follow. Are you suggesting that following the 'lift' on shielding for vulnerable people they are now more likely to go to a food bank, to avoid 'risking' their lives by going to the shops? Not sure how this is changing anything but I might be missing something.
