All night last Saturday night I was woken up at least 5 times by drunk people going about their business. Did anyone else notice or was I in fact dreaming? I live on Warham Road, but was just wondering if anyone else on the ladder has noticed an increase in drunk people shouting all night (quite possibly students?) recently. I need to get some curtains and quick

That's entirely normal I'm afraid, happens nearly every night. I'm on Seymour, and people coming back from the pub at closing time shouts their way past my house all the time. I also live near the passage, and the amount of shouting that goes on there at night is unbelievable. So entirely normal I'm afraid.
I'd love some of those "please shut the f' up, people are trying to sleep" signs.. or maybe they're slightly more polite than that normally.

Sadly, I agree with Anette - it happens almost every night. If it's not loud people, it's cars running their engines for ages. We have just moved from Seymour to Hewitt and cannot believe how much more noise there is (just one streets difference.
