Hiya
I am looking to have 3 small single glazed windows replaced with double glazing. Two of them are sash windows, but aesthetics aren't the priority, warmth is! So I would consider looking at non-sash. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks, in advance, for any advice you can offer.

Continuing the theme of thicker curtains, one option is to add a second layer to your curtains - e.g. these John Lewis Blackout Curtain linings - they add to the insulation effect, they keep out the light - and will probably also reduce noise. No good if you want your curtains open of course!
Thanks a million Michael. I could definitely use these for other rooms of the house, that's great to know. The windows i'm replacing are in the kitchen and have no curtains. I need as much light in the space as possible, but a bit less cold thank you very much! Thanks for the response.
