Centres for Disease Control and Prevention website has simple instructions on how to make a very decent face mask. I have made two so far.

Interesting coverage on last Nights BBC Question Time. From doctor . That majority of current masks are not made for moist germs. But for dust. resulting in wearer getting a higher does of their own germs back in their mouth. Yes I believe that they must be better than having people cough over you. But need the Right ones that can stopped moist Germs from reaching wearers face
