Local crafts and a Women’s Institute (WI) cake stall will be the highlights of Stroud Green Women’s Institute WInter fair which is raising money for local charity - Mind in Haringey.
There will also be a WI preserves stall selling jams and chutneys. Local small businesses and crafts people will be selling unique gifts - jewellery, ceramics, stationery, cards, candles, scarves, gardens in a jar, organic soaps, homeware, and gifts for pets. And there will be wonderful raffle prizes donated by local businesses in Stroud Green and Finsbury Park. Star prize is a 6ft Christmas Tree.
The fair will be opened at 12pm by the mayor of Haringey, Councillor Sheila Peacock.
The Stapleton Tavern has generously donated the use of its grand Chandelier room for the fair.
The Stroud Green WInter Fair is sure to be a terrific event, raising money for Mind. Do come and support us, have a browse and then a nifty drink at the bar to round off your visit. Support your local pub, local charity and local businesses all in one afternoon.

All the traditional ones will be there - Victoria Sponge, chocolate, coffee, lemon drizzle and carrot cake. Seasonal bakes such as fruit cake, mince pies and stollen, and also some of our popular show stoppers such as Apple & Olive Oil Cake with Maple Frosting, Raspberry & Lemon Bundt and Rhubarb & Almond Slice.
Dairy free, gluten free and vegan diets all catered for.
