Many years ago I was a Park keeper at Finsbury Park and used to take several Dogs a week to the Police. That I and other staff had found off leads and causing issues. Majority was never claimed and taken to Battersea Dogs home.
Yes they was held in park Kennel to see if claimed. Before taken to Police
Yes there was Signs about areas where Dogs had to be on Leads. Around Lake and play Frame /areas
The amount of Dog owners that used to bring their Dogs into office and Complain that Metal Fences and Tree Stubs had injured their dogs. Best laugh was Squirrels biting dogs noises when they used to chase them through metal fences
Or Trees that owners uses to hang dogs off to toughen them up, throwing the Dogs a Distance and Hurting and even killing a couple when they hit trees of fences
