I'm looking for a financial adviser to help me get my 'later life' finances in shape.
I understand the theory of finding a good IFA, and have looked in the obvious places. I'm now interested in getting personal recommendations from people who've used an IFA over time who has proven their worth to you.
I have met with Ruth Whitehead, who came across well, but I'd be daft not to meet with more than one person.
Any recommendations?

I use Simon Andrews at 1825 (based in Chiswell St near Old St station). He's very good and also a genuinely nice chap.
You might have already found someone... but I'd definitely recommend Philip Steer at Timothy James & Partners (near Tottenham Court Road).
He's brill; been advising me for 10 years plus and everyone I've recommended have been delighted with his service. Very practical, down to earth and ace with pension advice, in my opinion. http://www.tjpltd.co.uk/.
Thank you all.
Uncanny timing, Joanna as I'm contacting people this morning!
