Nice, very trendy. Thats one Turkish place I have actually never tried, maybe because its not the heart of Green Lanes.
It's one of my two go-to Turkish places in Harringay. Very friendly and food as good as others.
It's our favourite of all on Green Lanes food wise. Recommended!
Difficult to judge by the architectural drawing and description. Looks like the devil will be in the detail and quality of materials.
Agreed - there are some other shop fronts / outside seating areas that have been constructed on the parade that are pretty ugly due to low quality materials/construction.
I noticed yesterday that Turkish Food Market (TFM) near the overground station is constructing a permanent awning that looks pretty ramshackle / ugly, too. No idea if that has permission?
Been my favourite for last 20years although preferred it when it was smaller and open
It’s my favourite of the Turkish restaurants I have tried. The only downside is it can get very noisy, so it is not a place to go if you want a leisurely chatty dinner. I either go earlier in the evening, sit in the area to the right, which is quieter, or eat quickly and go for coffee somewhere else where you can linger and chat.
The staff there are always polite, the service is quick and I like the fact that food is cooked as it is ordered. After a long day at work, I sometimes get take out and appreciate the little glass of tea while I am waiting. It is a nice touch, as is the complimentary baklava you get if you order tea after your meal.
I used to like ‘Flame’ across the way, as it was also very friendly and being smaller made it quieter. Unfortunately, it has changed hands several times and has never been the same.
