Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Just had a welcome message from Sam Balch, Haringey's Drainage Technician:

"At 1800hrs yesterday evening, after a full two weeks of hard work by the two engineers on site at the school, I am pleased to say that Alexandra Primary Schools misconnection was rectified. The school is no longer polluting the Moselle. The road surface is being reinstated as I type this email and the traffic management will be removed this evening. All that is left over the next two days is the reinstatement of the footpath and a site deep clean ready for the school to start back on Monday."

Hi, I was directed this way via Twitter. Would you know if anyone has researched into the underground spring on the grounds of St Ann's Hospital?

It was in the area of the old nurses accommodation which was demolished for the Green trees wards in the late 80s.

Wonderful to hear that this has been done. Sounds like a credit to many people, including Haringay and the two operatives.
