Ex Council Leader, Charles Adje de-selected?

Following on from the lively thread on HoL about Alan Stanton's effective de-selection (he is appealing), news reaches me that the sword has also fallen on Cllr. Adje, the controversial Member for White Hart Lane Ward. Cllr. Adje was rightly taken to task over the TechFresh overspend, the lost money in Icelandic banks and the on-going fiasco concerning Ally Pally.

Cllr. Stanton did not see eye:eye with Cllr. Adje - hence his own downfall.

As I said, it's only a rumour at this stage, although my source is pretty reliable. Maybe Cllr. Stanton would confirm the news?

I get the impression Labour is falling to pieces in Haringey through a mixture of incompetence, arrogance, complacency and in-fighting. Then again, I am biased being the Chairman of the local Conservative Party (my membership declared as required under HoL rules)
