Unaccompanied dog seen running down Green Lanes
Hi, everyone
I'm not sure if this is any use to anyone but I saw a black Labrador cross (I think) running northbound along Green Lanes this morning. It ran across the road to sniff rubbish bags outside The Old Ale Emporium but when I tried to approach, it ran northbound on the ladder side of the road. It looked quite scared.
The dog has a blue collar on.
Sorry I don't have any more information but thought I should post this just incase.

Thanks for publicising. Not seen any local lost dogs on Dog Lost yet. There is a lost dog with blue collar listed on Animal Search, (but it's a black and white jack russell).
Hope someone out there can catch the dog. Any vet will scan for free to check if microchipped (it’s a legal requirement for dogs to be microchipped). Tel no of council dog warden is 07815 512833.

Maybe the dog is planning to run away with his bitch. Sick of their owners dragging them around by their necks. Not everything lost wants to be found.
