Need to reserve parking space in front of Falkland Rd flat for moving- can you help us by parking your car there?

We put our bins out the night before with yellow and black safety tape around them! That worked fine. Otherwise you can apply to the council to have parking suspended but a) it's expensive and b) not everyone pays attention and you still have to get cars moved.

Thanks... I think we will use the bins trick and try and reserve something on Thursday afternoon while everyone is out at work! I looked into parking suspension but we’ve not left enough time to set that up... and it is so expensive!

When I was moving in I called the council and they put up no parking signs. 

Doesnt cost anything other than a call. Just give them as much notice as you can. They were very helpful to me, and all went smoothly.

Thanks for this... according to the Haringey website though it seems to take 2 weeks for them to process requests like this and costs over £100... maybe their policy has changed?

You’re right .. policy must have changed. Block space with bins and vehicles.
