I have used Fist Choice Carpets near Turnpike Lane bus station. Large range of carpets. Staff are friendly and helpful and not pushy.

Carpetright in Homebase has lots of reductions and free fitting, though I feel conflicted about buying from them because of links with the owner and first forced Academy in Haringey.

Myers in East End Road N2  is excellent and reasonable. They have been around for a hundred years.

Second M&L, they went out of their way to source a carpet for us. They arrived to measure exactly when they said they would and rescheduled the fitting to suit us. Amazing service.
