Solicitor for buying/selling house

I know this is one of those regular posts but having trawled through previous ones there's not been one for about a year and so it would be good to know who'd recently used a local solicitor to buy/sell their house and had a good experience?

Hi - I'd highly recommend Kevin Tarpey at Streathers (020 7431 8889) - we've used him twice now, quality advice, extremely professional and reliable.

Seconded - we used Kevin many years ago when he was just getting started and then again last year when we moved - both times an excellent service. The second sale was slightly tricky due to problems up the chain at the contract stage and down the chain at completion stage - the price was still as quoted, despite the extra hours he put in to get the sale over the line. Couldn't recommend him more highly.
