We did - depends on the style you’re after. We got ours from Plykea who specialise in veneered ply - were absolutely outstanding - intelligent, friendly, extremely easy to deal with and accommodating. Quality is superb, if you are into that sort of look. Happy to show you the result.

i ordered a couple of pine doors online from these guys up in Crewe. Solid pine - very well made.

Thank you both for your responses, @kotkas and @hhnrau. My builder found a joiner shortly after I posted this so we used them. 

If anyone else is looking for excellent carpentry I highly recommend Thomas Cooter (along with his business partner Kyle)
