Thank you to those that have signed. Now 250,000. Even more important now that Barnier has pretty much rejected May's current customs arrangement offer.
I hope most people ignore this petition from the Left Wing, website based, out of touch, Independent newspaper.
It stopped printing newspaper editions because no one was buying it. This news organisation speaks for the better off, metropolitan elite who are out of touch with working people and the majority who voted for the brilliant idea of Brexit which will liberate us from the failing, over bureaucratic EU.
Theresa May is doing a great job to get the best deal. The Commons has voted to support her after many highly contested debates.
With the economy growing well and the lies of the Remainer's exposed, any new referendum will get Brexit a bigger majority. However, a new referendum will be a waste of taxpayers time and money as the people and parliament have voted clearly many times....... they support Brexit. Stop opposing Brexit and democracy!
Go and live in Europe if you like it so much and if you have such little faith in the brilliance of the UK to thrive.
I was actually reading what you were writing up until you mentioned the prime minister. This week her biggest efforts have been put into wriggling out of journalists efforts to corner her into admitting that people should start stockpiling food.
Why will they pay more taxes here after brexit?
if we put their taxes up (or down) on goods sold in the uk don't you think the Irish border will turn into a free for all for smuggling into the uk? Or vice versa, the eu don't want the continent flooded with tax free sanitary products either. Should never have had vat put on them in the first place.
Back to the point.....
If you want Brexit. then what the entire country voted for in a democratic landslide (according to the faragists/brextremists) is the ability to set our own lower taxes on anything we allow into the country and f**km over there. If someone was doing that to us don't you think we might impose punitive tariffs?
So, eventually, how would he Irish border not be hard? How would Kent avoid being a Lorry park? And don't say technology. Or I'll remind you of the amstrad emailer and the c5 .
“what the entire country voted for” “in a landslide”
Mmmm........52% vs 48% - no fake news on HoL please!
Just taking the piss.
For a change of direction like this it should have been a non binding vote below 60%.
But hey, I don't make the rules.
Um, I hate to break it to you, Brexit or not this fine country of ours is still part of, and will remain part of Europe. Good lord try some incredibly rudimentary geography will you!
I was going to respond to this but upon re-reading it decided it must be a parody. It's so hard to tell these days!
What I will say is that anyone who spouts the line "if you think it's better there and you don't like it here, go and live there then" will presumably welcome with open arms immigrants from Somalia, Bangladesh, Romania etc who think it is better in Britain than wherever they are from. They're merely doing what you say, coming over here if they don't like it there.
Hahaha, absolutely!
Neil seems to like dropping bomblets into any Brexit related discussion then running away. Bit like Boris & co. Probably scared of being proved wrong!
