Which is nuts given the half of Frobisher they didn't do has a school and a playgroup - ideal for kids to trip on and pushchairs to get stuck in ruts on.
The various services that go under our pathways are never far away from the surface. Below, the image with the black flimsy cable goes to the street light (totally unprotected!) and the green pipe holds our world wide web (and hyper local chit chat as Hugh likes to call it) just below the tarmac, currently being taken up with a massive breaker then a truck removing it with a huge claw. No surprise then that power is already out to some buildings in the area!! (reported to Power Networks) .... although we don't know yet whether they're linked until the technical investigation team turns up.
Technical Investigation team from Power Networks turned up @ 6pm. According to the path works supervisor (who predicted that's when they'd turn up) 6pm onwards is when over time kicks in. They (6 blokes & a digger) put the fuse back on in the sub station then decided to dig a random hole anyway 'just in case' (where the path works are happening). Now why didn't the first bloke from Power Networks who turned up at 2pm flick the fuse back on? Nobody knows.
.... ah they're off now 8pm. So that fuse, .... will probably blow again 'cause it's old and the weather is hot! Update the sub station Power Networks then we might get somewhere!
