Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi, we have a visitor from abroad this weekend and we'd like to take her out for breakfast. We usually go for a lovely Turkish breakfast, but our visitor is very keen on having a full English breakfast.

What are your favourite/the best places for an English cooked breakfast around Harringay or Wood Green?

I think that was a short term arrangement.

Ah! Okay thanks.

Thanks all. Considering the lovely weather that's forecasted, I think we're going to try the cafe at the Wetlands.

Just seen that Blend cafe on Green Lanes has won a Time Out award, I plan to visit soon.  The cafe at Wetlands Centre is also very good.

The Step in Myddleton Road, Bowes Park and Bounds Green, does brilliant breakfasts on the weekend too.

Moka is great and has a lovely outdoor space.

I say Jam in a Jar.. the best breakfas5s and the most reasonable in price...they do Vega vegetarian Mediterranean.

Also Music n Beans do fab coffee and  brilliant range of salads.

whatever you do NEVER eat at Highgate Woods cafe ..I got a thin scraping of avocado on toast (1 small piece)with 2 small mashed tomatoes cosy nearly £6...  plus told to take my small quiet inoffensive dog out...plus coffee close to £3

Queens Wood cafe on the other hand ...very fog friendly, goid food reasonably priced.7

Ah, I thought everyone was talking about the OTHER cafe (near) the Wetlands: http://www.zercafe.co.uk/index.html

It is the best cafe I've been to in literally ages. A great mixture of classic full English alongside Turkish mezze-style and the ubiquitous avo-on-toast. All done really, really well
