I have been trying without success to renew my parking permit. I also sent an email with the failure reference, just as the site instructed. Zero response to date.
I have the reminder letter and followed the instructions.
Anyone else having this problem?

I had to wait a while, but eventually got someone most helpful who sorted everything out... it did take a visit to parking services to finally get the renewed permit.
They have eventually replied to me and told me what to do, I haven't read the email properly yet but I think they say to call them so I will get round to doing it this week. My permit isn't actually due to run out for a couple of weeks but I must remember to try again soon.
My renewal saga is ongoing. I called the number I was given, waited in a queue for 30 minutes, they confirmed my details and gave me a pin number valid for 15 minutes and put me through to an automated payment thing. It accepted my pin, got my details and asked me to confirm. I did confirm (by pressing 1) but it got stuck in a loop, kept asking me over and over to confirm then it hung up on me. So frustrating.
So I've called back and and back in queue position 7, again.
All this along with a big price increase is ridiculous.
I was expecting something else to be honest because until this year the renewal process was very simple, I've renewed for years online with no problems.
The second time I called I got through to a very helpful person who told me how to a hack to avoid the loop in the automated system (which isn't working properly) he then called me back to check it was all ok and emailed a permit to me. Phew!
When it asked you to press * press it twice, then when it asks you to press 1 to confirm the cost press 1 twice.
I think I ended up pressing * a few times because the robot went a bit quiet. But the pressing 1 twice got me out of the loop.
The problem may have something to do with a "Mayday, Mayday" message posted on the Haringey website yesterday.
Below is my screenshot a few minutes ago with an added arrow. If the "techinical" issues they are "expreriencing" have caused people to get fines I hope they tell their Parking Service colleagues. I asked my wife Zena Brabazon who is a councillor, and she hadn't had an email tolling her of the periblem.
