Help we're moving and need to find the owner of a car
We're moving on Wednesday 7th March and have a parking dispensation outside our house on Lausanne road but due to the snow last week the notice just went up today outside a house further down the street (no idea why). We would like to find the owner of a black mini countryman one d that is parked outside our house to ask them if they could move the car to allow the removal lorry to park on Wednesday. We think they are unlikely to notice the dispensation warning as it's not near where they are parked. If anyone can help by letting them know it would be very much appreciated.

I'd suggest leafleting your neighbours, someone will probably know who's it is. The DVLA will have the owners details, but will only release those to the Police or a Court.

Firstly, if you haven't already, put a note on the windscreen and leaflet the houses nearby. We did that when a car stayed outside our house in the run-up to us moving despite paying for parking suspension and having notices displayed. If that doesn't work, as long as the notice clearly states between which houses the parking is suspended, call the council if it's still there on moving day and they'll arrange for it to be towed.
