I think it's 1970s - it's an acrylic wool I think, bulky to wash but dries REALLY fast!

Measurements
Width - side to side - 245cm plus 2 x 24cm tassles
Length - top to bottom - 232cm plus 1 x 24cm tassle
It has a few pulls and whilst it the colour is cream I think it's very slightly yellowing in places - seems only noticeable in some light
