Sid & Lionel are two beautiful semi long haired brother cats who have been rescued by Stokey Cats and Dogs. They are now about one year old and have been waiting for a permanent home for over 6 months. They have been neutered.
Sid & Lionel were born to a stray mum in a graveyard. Their other siblings were sadly found deceased. Sid and Lionel are very bonded and would like a loving home together.
Their ideal home would have catflap access to a back garden and their ideal human parents would be patient and loving and would give them time to show how sweet and loving they can be.
There could be some pedigree cross in them as they are bigger than normal cats and have fluffy tails, semi long hair. Lovely personality, gentle, loving giants.
If you would like to find out more about them, please get in touch with Stokey Cats and Dogs by email. They would love to receive enquiries. Please note that they want to home them together. Home checks apply.

The photos below show them when first rescued as kittens, living rough in a graveyard.
Stokey Cats and Dogs are a local volunteer group who rescue local stray cats. It's vital that cats are neutered as there are so many homeless cats. They rescue cats and get them neutered, microchipped and rehomed. They also rely on and welcome funds donated by the community on their fundraising page here or you can donate via paypal to stokeycatsndogs@gmail.com. They also have a Wish List on Amazon and have a Stokey Cats and Dogs Facebook group
I post regularly here in respect of Stokey cats needing homes and photos.

If you can't offer a permanent home to a cat, please also consider becoming a temporary fosterer who looks after a rescue cat until a permanent home is found, as more fosterers are urgently needed.

Hi there,
I emailed Stokey on the 1st Sept and have had no response.
I have tried to leave a message on your phone - it was full up.
Thanks a lot for replying Rebecca. Sorry for the delay in Stokey responding. Often their phone mailbox gets full because they receive a lot of calls about cats needing help locally. Email contact is best and they do reply to emails, but sometimes there is a delay, but a week is a long time! So apologies.
If you let me know here or by private message which cat or cats you are interested in, I shall speak to Ella (Elzbieta) who runs Stokey as I am in regular contact with her. It will be great to hear from you and I can also get a homing application form sent to you.
Anyone is always welcome to get in touch with me to help with any enquiries.
Thank you for you message - hopefully you have received my email address

Cindy & Lionel are still looking for a good home together. They have been waiting for a permanent home for over 10 months. They would love a home with catflap access to a back garden.
