This morning, one came up to the table outside my kitchen window, had a drink from an old plant container that was full of water, sat down on the table and surveyed the world.
He must have been aware that the entire E family were watching (and filming) but sat like the king of the castle.

Several years ago I came across a fox cub, similar in age to those on the video, trying to run under the wheels of the parked cars up Falkland Rd, about 8:30am when it was busy with human activity. Think it was the same year I found a cub dead in the open space. Their urban existence is precarious.

Adult foxes would happily saunter along the footpath as the children went to school, much to everyones surprise.
