If, like me you hadn't realised that there used to be a hospital opposite Tottenham Green, this link will take you a view of the building today on Street View. It has of course now been converted to flats.

Used to visit with my father, her great nephew, three or four times a year. She had the only aspidistra on a tall stand in a bay window that I ever saw!

Comment by Larklander on July 16, 2024 at 17:59: A fun fact about the Prince of Wales Hospital on Tottenham Green: during its conversion into apartments, it was used as the building site location for Ken Loach's 1991 film Riff-Raff, starring Robert Carlyle and Ricky Tomlinson.
