I used to go to the Horse of the Year show when I was a kid in the 60s. I can't remember exactly where it was . Funny if it was in Harrigay.

HOYS was at Harringay for its first ten years but moved on in 1958 when the Arena was closed.

Had forgotten the popular ( for a time ) term for a V-sign was a Harvey Smith

Oh, I just missed it being in Harringay then.  I can't remember where it was, but we used to come from Birmingham in the late 60s.  And yes, I remember the V sign!!

Yes Wembley. Now I remember. We used to go another horsey event in White City too. For a Brummy with no access to a horse these events were wonderful. The Birmingham show was good though.
