A poor quality image of Westfield Road to add to the collection of pictures of this now demolished part of Hornsey.
The chimney in the distance would have belonged to the hornsey dust destructor.

I lived at 1/2 way up the hill at 51 and we could see the Alexandra Palace, but it doesn't seem to be in this.
Janis, I'm sure Ally Pally is there but is rendered invisible by either the limitations of photography at the time of by the degradation of the print over time. You can see it on this photo from St Mary's Rd.
Thank you so much Hugh for posting this, brings back memories of when my family lived there at No 60 with my Nan albeit 50 years later. I don't remember being able to see the Pally from this view but I could from the back bedroom of her house.
