I remember it well as I was next door at Hornsey County at the time. Quite an exciting event, but I can't remember what it was we held up to avoid looking directly at the sun!

Late on this - that looks remarkably like Mr Leslie Patterson, headmaster in the early 50s at NORTH Harringay Primary.
