What a lovely photo. The young ladies are dressed so well. Would love to step back in time and be a part of the times.
That pic stopped me in my tracks ! At first glance I thought the lady on the right was my sister Joyce.
We lived in Harringay Road just behind The Parade and she worked for a while at Rosens ladies outfitters on The Parade, from memory just past the Ballroom sign.
Those were the days.
There was a tobacconist/sweet shop just behind where the girls were standing. My Dad would send me across the road to get his cigarettes. Would not be allowed now for a child to buy cigarettes.
