I'm afraid this is not South Harringay School, it is Hornsey County School and shown in the wording. I was at the School from 1949 - 1952 when it sadly closed as a Grammar School. Yes it did become South Harringay for a while but now is South Harringay Infants.
H Eileen, Thanks for your comment. It certainly was Hornsey County School when the picture was taken, but most local people won't know it as that. Tthe building now houses (what the signage outside calls) South Harringay School. I think formally there are two schools - infants and junior - but as the school website says South Harringay School is "a Federation between the SHJS and SHINS schools".
I hope you now understand why I chose the title.
