Our house. 1 Willoughby Road 1967 where I grew up with mum and dad Eve and Jack Sleigh. He was a local meat trader and had a yard behind Wood Green underground station and a stall, I think, in Coleraine Road off of Green Lanes in Wood Green. If I remember correctly there used to be a little supermarket named Coplanas or something like that around the corner and the Criterion Restaurant owned by mum and dad's best friends Tina and Andreas Crysanthou..

Hilary!? I was a bit keen on her when we went skating at the Arena! That would have been back in the late 50s; I would be about 15. We left Harringay in 1964 - in fact 8 families of Woods all abandoned London in 1964!
Most enjoyable little read.
Out of interest John where abouts on Norfolk are you? I live in Fakenham and my partner lives in Wells.
Just added a picture looking west up Frobisher, showing the garden wall of this property.
Robert Sleigh..........was impressed with photo of No 1 Willoughby Rd so continued reading the comments and then found a comment you left to me on June 18, 2021 !! This I'm sure is first I've seen of it. So in answer I now live up in North Norfolk, few miles out of Cromer. Apologies for delay.
