Where difficult but when? Could be 60-61 or 63-64 winters - both cold and the nearer car is a mid 50s. The further one could be a 59-60 Austin A55. 60-61 ended my motorcycling days really! Wimp?

PS - I left in 1964 - also 53 years ago; that was a great diaspora for London. In 1963 I had seven families living in north London and two in south. By 1965 there were NONE! I was in Hunts, my parents in Sussex along with two other sets, another was in Dorset, one went to the US and the others I lost completely.
