A view of Alexandra Park on a busy Bank Holiday with crowds of people.
Anyone care to speculate what direction this is photographed from?

Down to the Rose Garden at east of the main building ?
But from the shadows, it's likely we are facing west.
No, having looked, it's not the Rose Garden. The topography is all wrong.
My best guess now is that it's an access gate to the racetrack, possibly from Priory Road via Redstone Road. As far as I know, the racetrack is the only large piece of flat land that can be seen from the east without including the Palace.
The white tent and the fenced-off area could be the unsaddling enclosure and the tall structures could be for the judges ( or TV cameras ? :-) )
Are you sure that it is Alexandra Park, London?
It's a poor quality copy, but you can just about make out the Alexandra Palace caption in bottom left corner - other than that I couldn't say.
