There was also a David Greig’s grocers/shop on Stroud Green Road, from memory near where the Tesco’s is now...

And also in Wood Green High Road pre shopping city. It was located just north of Alexandra Road on the same side.

And I'm sure on Green Lanes around Kimberley Gardens area bang next to Pearks Grocers (where I had a Saturday job).   Seem to think there was also a Dewhurst's butchers in same stretch.  This would be 60's.

I think the 'David Greigs' in Gee Hood's memory was in fact....Williams Brothers. There were 2 shops between the t/lights [Elkin's] and the dentist  opposite 'Laurence & Leigh' [barbers].
