the 'unclaimed' section by Wightman Road which does have double yellow lines, but Haringey refuse to enforce them. Either get rid of the double yellow lines, enforce them, or charge people to park there. The current situation is a farce.

Unless Hampden's direction is about to be reversed. There may be an argument for that - with the new Fairview flats replacing Wilmot Dixon - might just be me but I think there's already a noticeable increase in HGVs exiting the station approach and just continuing straight down Hampden.
On the other hand, as we know in the absence of filtering then tinkering with one road's direction just moves traffic from one rung to another. If Hampden is reversed I guess we'll see an increase of traffic on Sydney and Frobisher.…
says - the missing Hampden Road sign was reported to the council several years ago and nothing was done. That's what fosters cynicism and distrust. Actually, the missing Hampden Road sign is now irrelevant - to access Hampden you have to be on Wightman which IS signposted as a 7.5T limit.

Today, as I walked past, enforcement was just starting: the first ticket was just being issued.
It seems that most people had taken notice of the posted arnigs and only a handful were still parked.
On my way back past, an hour later, only the silver BMW remained.
