"We have the same and it makes a massive difference. On really hot days, if we open the skylight and then open the windows on both sides of the loft, it’s stays a pretty sensible temperature."

Hotter-than-hell loft conversion

Afternoon all. I'm after some advice... A few years ago we had our loft converted (third storey added to Victorian terraced house) and while the extra room has been great, the loft space is far from comfortable in hot and cold spells - that is, it is often very cold in winter and, even more so, scorching in the height of summer (like now).We have a (fixed) dome skylight in the roof of the loft landing.
