Friends of my parents also ran that pub and the lady whose name I cannot recall was a real beauty.   I fell in love with her though she didn't know it, I don't think !

This would've been late fifties - late 60's.

Sorry for eavesdropping.

Thanks for that Martin. I remember the Taylor Woodrow logo - very effective :-0

Did you know Colin Chapman ( Lotus ) or Frank Dickens (cartoonist ) ?

Lived in Tottenham Lane, Hornsey from 1947 till 1959. Train spotted at Hornsey station where the engine turntable was a particular fascination. Enjoyed getting immersed in smoke on the bridge as the steam train passed underneath! How times have changed. Saturday morning pictures at The Ritz, Turnpike Lane with my hero, Captain Marvel. Sixpence.
