ESOL Teaching Textbooks.

Does anyone want to set up a mini ESOL teaching library while working at home or for further online work in the future? I used to teach ESOL to adults as a volunteer and as employed at the local colleges for many years but do not have the energy for that now.I have two boxes of used tried and tested ESOL textbooks which should be seeing use where they are intended. I am offering them to anyone who could use them, saving a bit of money on the textbook scene. Also making a bit more space in my…See More

Hello

Leaflets for the Cash Mob at Andreas Michli's shop are now in the shop - please do take some and pass them on to friends and neighbours, thanks!

Hi Margaret,
Thank you very much telling me about this meeting. Unfortunately, that week is already quite full, so it is unlikely that I will be able to make it. However, I will be very interested to hear from you about the matters which arise.
Best,
David

Hello Margaret, it did seem that something had gone wrong this time. I hope that Dasos will investigate the problem but it will be worth those people who did not get notification making a complaint, I think. Seems a shame that those people who came to tell us about what they are achieving had such a small audience.

Hi, Margaret. It was a pleasure meeting you the other day at the TSC party at Matthew's. If there's anything I can do to help you, please get in touch. Hope you're well.

All the best,

I already belong to 2 book clubs in the borough but have no problem in joining another one. However this Thursday I am already double booked at a film club and another meeting so some other time would be possible. Keep in touch.

Hi Margaret, Just wondered whether you would be interested in joining our book club? We meet about once a month. This month we are reading The Boy in the striped pjamas by John Boyne. We are meeting this Thursday 19 June 8.30pm in the Salisbury Hotel doesnt give you much time to read the book but it would be nice to meet you. Ruthx

Hi Margaret

You maybe interested in joining the Local Food Group.

A group to share knowledge of great places to buy good local food. Info on allotments, farmer's markets, community gardens, local producers, businesses & city farms.

Hope you do. :)

Hello Margaret,
I was wondering whether it would be worth starting a group, similar to the Kid Stuff one but with a focus on the issues that might concern older members of the site, such as park provision for the elderly as you mentioned in the thread. Take a look at
Some information on using and starting groups
and see what you think.
best wishes
Liz
