Postal 'Scandal' in Harringay

I happened across this whilst researching something else and thought it was an interesting comment on how times change.

Until around 2005, I received deliveries at my office at 9.30am and 1.30pm.

It reads like an editorial or a letter. Journalism was very different back then - comment was freely peddled as 'news' and opinion often dressed up as a news item. The headline strangely does not really reflect the content below.

Of course back then correspondents often expected a reply 'by return' and the businessman referred to would be unable to do so until late or even the following day - very rude behaviour for then.

The title actually did not last long (in fact 1899 to 1905 I find).
