Amazing to see these images! I have memories of my parents taking me to watch the fire and all the crowds that were there. Thanks for posting them.

Wonderful photographic record of event. I recall viewing a fire at Ally Pally from the balcony of our flats while living on Weir Hall Road, off White Hart Lane. Only lived there from 1970 -72.
