Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

From The British Journal Of Photography, January 13, 1893

Harringay Photographic Society. January 5, Inaugural Meeting. The Chairman (Mr. Dudley Towers) showed the need was great for a society of this kind in this centre of photographic activity. It was proposed that a library be started, and that ladies be eligible for membership. The rules for the management of the Society were drawn up, and the following officers were
elected: President: Mr. D. Towers. Vice-President : Mr. Bennett. Council : Messrs. N. Watson and F. Bailey. Secretary and Treasurer, C.Frith, 8, Cavendish Road, N., from whom all particulars maybe had.

Now I wonder what happened to their collection.

Let's find it :-)
It may be part of the Hornsey Historical Society photo collection.

Mention made in The International Annual of Anthony's Photographic Bulletin, Volume 6:

I wonder what the Endymion Road Refreshment Rooms were. The only possible candidate showing on the 1895 OS map is "Refreshment Room" by the lake in the park.
