Your old cooking oil can now be recycled and used to generate electricity

Residents across Haringey can now ensure that used cooking oil does not go to waste thanks to new collections on offer at the council's Reuse & Recycling Centres.

The council has established a new partnership with Living Fuels, a company which is now offering cooking oil collections from the two centres in Hornsey High Street and Park View Road, Tottenham.

Living Fuels purifies the collected oil before using it to generate clean electricity.
