Apologies if this has already been posted - I did a quick search but couldn't see it anywhere. There's a sign up in Yasar's window saying that they are going to be on Britain's Best Bakery on ITV1 this afternoon at 4pm - I checked on the ITV website and, sure enough, it proclaims that today's episode includes a "Turkish Cypriot Bakery" in London.

there's a thing called Tahinli sold next to the gozleme and croissants and boreks that's properly addictive. Tastes like a sesame halva donut, if such a thing was possible. Hardcore sugar-butter fix.
Those things are lethal. But yummy.
I have no idea what they're called but the round flatish cakes on the counter next to the door through to the veg bit are lovely - if anything they are even nicer the day after you get them. the sweet borek is also pretty good
their personalized real cream birthday cakes are very nice & really cheap. Ready in two hours.
