I'm sure that some of you have come across other 'discoveries' of this wee nugget, but I've only just stumbled across the fact that nutty illustrator William Heath-Rinson was born just round the corner in Stroud Green/Finsbury Park at 25 Ennis Road.

I'd love to see an illustration in the style of Heath-Robinson of how Brexit happens. Any takers?

Who'd a thought it - another nugget of local history.
And there is a Heath Robinson Museum recently opened in Pinner [link https://www.heathrobinsonmuseum.org/ ], less than 10 mins from Pinner station, Metropolitan Line. Perhaps there's inspiration there re the B word.
I'm sure if Heath Robinson were still living in Stroud Green or Highgate he would want to devote his remaining years to his Kober Memorial Series on the Haringey Development Vehicle, merging the immortal inspirations of
www.haringey.gov.uk/regeneration/haringey-development-vehicle
with the incorrigible optimism of scheming councillors as set out in
www.haringey.gov.uk/parking-roads-and-travel/roads-and-streets/road...
Of course a Heath-Robinson Haringey development vehicle! Why didn’t I think of that?
