This cat does look like one that used to hang around Harringay station... Super friendly and would follow you home if you let it. I once crouched down to strike him and he got on my knee! I'm pretty sure he had an owner bit enjoyed hanging outside, could be wrong though!

This thread (though from 2013) [link] has good pictures of the Station Cat, which looks more mature than the cat pictured above. Yes a friendly cat. Darned typos -  strike for stroke, sure the latter's what you meant!
