Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi does anyone know where I can pick mulberries in N8 or N4?
I'm also interested in blackberries by the way.
Thanks!

Jessica there was a good mulberry tree on a road in Highbury also a tiny one in N15 they're at a premium also there were some lovely looking blackberries on the passage the other day had a couple and left the rest it was near Pemberton? All blackberries seem to be 'gone' now but I can give you some sites for next summer. There's a discussion forum somewhere in HOL regarding fruit picking in the Ladder but it's more scrum ping I fear. Criky apple doesn't recognise a well known pastime of my youth - two words for our American friends (sent from my iPhone) ahem

It's a little further afield but Hampstead Heath has loads of blackberries. The field next to the allotments by Fitzroy Park is generally plentiful.

Aberdeen Park I think in front of Escuan Lodge, N5 bring a step ladder and no guarantees but I think they're ready for picking. It's on the pavement. Have a search on HOL with mulberry, there is a tree in St Anns hospital and the fruit is brimming. However you need to get over the fence so I wonder if permission can be sought from the trust, I'm sure they will be wanting to appear friendly to locals as they are going to sell of 2/3 of the site soon to pvt developer if they get their way. Grrr. Turn left after entering and then on the left there is a house with the name! Best of luck

Welcome!

The Parkland Walk is good for blackberries. If you pick them above knee height they hardly taste of dog wee at all.
