Where can i find 'old fashioned' jeans?

I am looking for a pair of old fashioned Wrangler or Levi's type heavy duty straight leg jeans. my experience is that I need to try them on first, so internet doesn't work. The Jean Shop in Wood Green used to be the go-to place but its been closed a while. Anyone know another?

Philip, Uniqlo do decent straight leg jeans for £35 and they alter the leg length within about an hour for free, so you can go for a cuppa and come back to collect. The Selvedge range is fairly heavy duty. Levi 501s, which were my jeans of choice, are knocking £90 in a lot of places now.

thanks guys. I have trawled thru TKMAX which is good if they have what you want. I am going to try the Highbury Jeans centre in Chapel Market....

501s - love them!  I got mine at the Levi Shop in Hong Kong.  They sell 'odd' sizes at bargain prices and I was lucky.  Maybe the one Pav suggests in Regent Street does the same.  Worth a try.

FYI Went to Jeans Centre in Chapel Market. Guy couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. 501s £65.00 includes being turned up within half an hour! recommended
