Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

We have our twin nephews coming to stay on Saturday and we need something to keep them occupied for a few hours in the afternoon. They are 12 and like skateboarding and music - they play drums and bass very well in a band. Anything active or musical would be great, and something that isn't too expensive is a bonus!

Take them to Camden market and let them buy some band t shirts/browse the record stalls?

There is also a skatepark in Camden and it is free.

I was actually thinking about Camden, didn't know about the skate park actually. Thanks for the tip!

There is a modest skate park up at Ally Pally, next to the play ground and behind the building itself, at the ice skating rink end. Take them for a walk up there to see the view, and walk down to see the deer too!

Natural history or the Science museum. Children always enjoy these, especially the dinosaurs at the Natural history museum and they are free. The Science museum is beside the Natural history museum so you can do both.

not active or musical, but its free. british aircraft museum at hendon. parking onsite is £3 but there is free parking outside.
